The birds there are obviously quite used to people and rely on them for scraps of food. I like the colouring of this bird. You can see a bit of the iridescent green and purple in its feathers.
Sat, 30 Oct 2010 21:11:04 +0000 eyes

I think I heard somewhere once that kids and pets are the hardest things to take photos of. One day I was having a look at a map of Edmonton and noticed a large body of water in the northwest part of the city, appropriately named Big Lake. Odd, because I had never heard anyone talk about it. So, one day I decided to check it out. I’ve been there twice now and plan to continue going there. I’ve only begun to delve into the photo opportunities.
Mon, 18 Oct 2010 17:55:00 +0000 near Caroline Alberta

A couple things I hadn’t anticipated when I moved to Alberta were the amazing sunrises and sunsets. I lived for a short while in Caroline, Alberta and I couldn’t believe the beautiful sunrises I saw there so often. I miss that.
Fri, 15 Oct 2010 21:40:00 +0000
